To All Who Are Young And Loveless.

To All Who Are Young And Left Loveless.

There are depths of
passion and tears
you have not
even pondered yet.
The shallow pools of youth
through which you've tread
were only meant
to get your feet wet.

The incredible fountains
of love and sorrow
that you will
eventually share
lie just north
of your current despair.

We are tender
and then hardened
by the crash dives
into puddles of tears,
and the crawling out
of teenage infatuations
so that we can truly recognize
the smelting, melting heat
of passion beyond tears
that will make us
gold with another.

Thank-You, Sir, for being an youth advocate... I use to write/protect them by writing about pro-TEEN-agers. This 'Age' is so fragile, and dependent on adults and their kindness... An 'age'/stage of life totally misrepresented, underestimated and sometimes [unfairly, of course] ignored by so many... if not almost by all science/industries... and entourage... And worse: often ignored by [superficial] society indifference... Ignorance [?]

The TEENagers are BIG dreamers... the future of US... Everything for them is so sharp and real: pain, dreams, love, rejections, betrayal, trust, loyalty... and hopes... Thank-You for the nostalgic innocence recollection.
