To Hope (PHT)

Hope To Fall

Do you believe in rapture

that frozen moment in time

preceeding the fall

(as if it hadn't happened, at all)

to this space called hell

(it) seemed but a sign

of all

that

had

been

her (in rapture)

It started with the music

the night

meaningless meandering

then I listened to moody blues

(first time in as many years)

remembered something I'd 4gotten

someone I'd been

(still inside)

caught in a landslide of bricks

do we become more material because of mortality

or is it because of what we 4get

2 remember

all these dreams

sheltered by cold hard harsh

reality

(what we're told

was never real)

this feeling

it never fades

it never goes away

open minds

open eyes

time 2 die

4get about it

4get about it

4get about it

Have you ever fallen down and lost something? You didn't realize what it was, or even when you lost it - just that it was gone. I've been that way for a while now. Something faded from me, something essential - i don't know if I can get it back.

her eyes prey

upon crystal shards of awareness

a little more

a little less

the times we’ve had

can never compare

to those to come

you were never there

only dreams

(of you)

glass caught, between the frame

a flat perspective

caught up in the light

shining in your eyes

flat

only a picture

painted (taken)

by these moments

we'd held

time (frame by frame)

walk away
