Sometimes its just the little things that make friends special

To See Your Face

Time and distance shall not move me from it.

No storm or sea can pull me through it

Your shadow is grand and I fall right through it

The perfect child…who ever knew it?

I calmly climb a mountain to the sky

I wait for this time because I cannot fly

My soul remains intact I am the bedrock

My valley is laid and I wait for your arrival.

I travel far and I see the sun; I wait for you the blessed one. I hope to stand and breathe in all your grace. I will search the world to see your face. I need to see your face.

I gasp for air and you pacify me

I would not dare to get up off my knees

My respect is grand and you have the keys

My doors are not mine they are also your property

Your eyes- your smile is a masterpiece

My platonic one you set my soul at ease

I travel far and I see the sun; I wait for you the blessed one. I hope to stand and breathe in all your grace. I will search the world to see your face. I need to see your face.
