To battlefield we Rode

Smeared with frustration lost in fads I sing as I pretend to be happy Persuading myself to run some more I go recklessly windward

For only in the grip of darkness Will we shine amidst the brightest stars

Revolving. And each time it's touched by the light of the sun and moon... The world is always changing into something new
Revolving. And each time it's touched by the light of the sun and moon... The world is always changing into something new

Her sweet innocence smeared in burgundy with the Virgin’s blood

Like silky milk it has been shed to cover our country like a flood

The glittering blue eyes have turned icy cold as she was sacrificed

The soul of the reaper the beauty of Juliet the soul of the sun been sliced

Never had she feared death, not even when it Thee Treacherous kissed her apart

Not a shout not a screech as Death tore through her chest to get to her heart

On a summer blazing battle field she rode her horse to the battlefield

And ran her beauty and sword through the knight’s armor and shield

In the name of freedom she screamed in the name of her beloved retched land

She carried her sword fearless, and the sun and the moon in the other hand

She bowed to no master for she was the master of her own

When she spoke hearts would silence and in enemies fear would be blown

She knew fear by the name and the wrist yet in never seeped through her veins

For she swore to free her people from the demon of hate and slavery’s chains

In darkness she called and in the cold they answered they rode towards death

United as one heart beating as one they called out for victory with their last breath

As she saw malicious fear take control over the rear of her army she charged

With the wings of the angels she rode, she rode unaware that she was harmed

And the angels carried the rest of her body up to the sky as they sang the epilogue

As her blood was smeared with the sulfurous soil by the bloody rain and the smog
