To my grandpa [Poem]

When I was eight years old, in 1997,

God came and brought you to Heaven.

Almost sixteen years passed by,

and I still remember that beautiful "you and I".

I'm older now, I'm nearly a man,

but without you how I can?

Maybe one day we'll meet again,

and the same God will carry out the pain.

Hello Lorenzo, Grandpas are such special people in our lives that we carry their memory with us forever . I lost mine when I was 7 years old and I am 84 now , I still have fond memories of him .They are gone but we can prepare to meet them in Heaven . You still have your memories of him to help you . Beautiful poem about your grandfather. Grandparents are special people and it makes me sad to think that someday I won't have any... Nice work.

I still miss my grandfather, even though he's been gone about 30 years. My dear grandmother died 10 years ago. It would be very difficult to go through life, without the hope of meeting again in Heaven, which is our true home anyway.
