Top Of The Morning To You

What happens today is something very special

Life interacting constantly

We can enjoy or suffer through it

To understand and accept any or all of it

Look around you and see what other people do

Watching closely how they react to the same situation

I am not sure how your day will end

If we take part in it there can be one promise

We take action that will lead us in one direction

That will change who we are

We may not even see the change

The change affects us in many ways

It can give us new thoughts to act differently next time

We may be happy with the result and look forward to do it again and again

Well today is a day I am in the crossroads

I have a slight sniffle that won't go away

I feel good but am reminded of it every minute

I remember how nice it was when I didn't have this annoying situation

Life is what it is

I have to weather the storm

No matter how little or big it is

I look at other people who are healthy and fine

That will be me soon

If not I will slowly loose my mind

This sniffle took me by surprise

I did nothing really different during my week

Then again my thoughts our constantly changing

I am making sure I don't get the blues

So I do what I can to pull through

Letting my body fight it naturally first

Medicine is my next option if that doesn't work

Plans for work later

Clearing my throat for no reason

Experiencing what life has dropped in my lap

Choosing to find a way

To do everything I have to do to make it right

Not wasting one moment with you

Make your day as wonderful as it can be

Because some day you might be reading this

Shocked as I am

Sniffling your way through

To better days ahead
