Top Ten New Age Books For Truth Seekers, 1 Thru 5

The New Age Movement has opened up a whole new genre of information that used to be ridiculed and scoffed at by mainstream science and public opinion but now after fifty years is gaining traction in the public eye and changing the way people think.
The New Age Movement has opened up a whole new genre of information that used to be ridiculed and scoffed at by mainstream science and public opinion but now after fifty years is gaining traction in the public eye and changing the way people think.

New Age Definition

The New Age movement really began in the late 60s to early 70s in the West, out of the Free Love era and is defined by a spiritual and holistic view of self. The emphasis of the movement is self discovery through the examination of ones inner knowledge by meditation, alternative holistic medicine, discipline and exercise such as yoga or martial arts.

The concept that a healthy body leads to a healthy mind and soul, is the root principle of this diverse and eclectic movement. Karma and reincarnation are two other widely accepted principles of the New Age movement. From this movement has sprung up a whole new form of music and science, with the latter embracing quantum mechanics and meta-physical information as fact.

Criteria and Considerations

Compiling a Top Ten list on any subject can be a daunting task, however creating such a list on a genre of books that defy a common classification can be even more of a challenge. Many such books rely almost entirely on channeled information which is such an abstract medium that it can be difficult to reconcile the information completely. I feel that to truly give this list Top Ten New Age Books For Truth Seekers merit I will have to discard conventional thinking, and rely on experience and intuition to guide my criteria.

The problem of course is what to put in and what to leave out. There are simply some very good books out there on this diverse subject that I haven't read yet, so I've decided to stick too just the books I have read that deliver an overall positive message.

My criteria will have to be with books that deal with information that defies conventional thinking when explaining and defining ancient myths, legends and stories handed down through antiquity. There are many subjects that the average man and our educational system considers myths and legends that abstract thinking, channeling, unconventional research, whistle blowers and other insiders have shown have more than just a hint of the truth.

When these subjects are explored without bias and contempt prior to investigation they often reveal a hidden truth that simply cannot be denied. Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, perhaps said it best, with his famous quote from a Sherlock Holmes book.

“When you have eliminated all which is impossible, then whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth.”
Arthur Conan Doyle, The Case-Book of Sherlock Holmes

Because the New Age Movement and books of this genre cover such wide and diverse subjects, I feel it is important to list just some of these so the reader will know what to expect, below is a list of just a few terms and subjects;

Akashic Records, Alien Abductions, Aliens & UFOs, Ancient Advanced Civilizations (Atlantis & Lemuria), Annunaki, Angels, Argartha, Ascended Masters, Astral Projection, Channeling, Council of Nine, Cryptozoology, Dimensions (higher & lower), Elements, Extraterrestrials, Flower of Life, Hollow Earth, Hypnosis, Immortality, Karma, Legends, Magic, Meditation, Mind Control, Mysticism, Mythology, Law of One, Quantum & Ether Physics, Parapsychology, Platonic Solids, Possession, Pyramids (power), Regression Therapy, Remote Viewing, Reincarnation, Sacred Geometry, Shamanism, Spiritualism, Star Children, Star Gates, Teleportation, Tree of Life, Unconditional Love, Walk-Ins, Zoroaster

Because New Age books cover such a diverse field of related subjects, I felt it was important to create a list that would give the Truth Seeker an opportunity to indulge in a smorgasbord of eclectic tastes. As with all lists of this nature, the reader will invariably disagree with the order and content. Because of this I hope to gain some titles and authors I have left out and haven't read yet through comments left by readers of this article. Although, I consider myself well read, I only began reading this kind of material in the last ten years, so I have a lot of catching up to do.

It is important to understand my reasoning behind compiling such a list. This will give my readers and other seekers of the truth a starting point to explore their own truths. My own research has lead me to the startling conclusion that our ancient past is being hidden from us, on purpose. The Powers That Be simply do not want the general public to recognize our true legacy, our awesome potential and even the technology that exists today that has derived from our ancient ancestors.

Another important consideration to make note of is that many people are of the opinion that the New Age Movement has been infiltrated by The Powers That Be and the message propagandized, twisted and distorted to suit their own nefarious agenda. This is a common tactic used by the Illuminati to divide and conquer public opinion.

Without further ado I give you my Top Ten New Age Books For Truth Seekers list and a brief description to why I feel they have such a big impact for those seeking to discover their own truth.

#1 The Source Field Investigations

The Source Field Investigations (2011) by David Wilcock is without a doubt the best book for anyone just beginning to seek the truth, as it compiles a vast amount of scientific data, abstract ideas and unconventional thinking, not known in the West. In this book he outlines in an easy to read format how our fundamental education process has lead the public and mankind in general, away from the teachings of our ancient ancestors, that are only now being recognized by among others Russian scientist but has been known by those that embrace Eastern philosophy for millennia.

He has composed a vast appendix, bibliography, reference section and list of websites and links that allow the reader to visit the source of his writings and conclusions. He has painstakingly drawn a complete picture of his unique philosophy by relating the subjects and ideas too each other while encouraging the reader to explore these concepts, based on scientific facts. This book is a tour deforce and must read for anyone seeking to understand the vast amount of information censored from our conventional education process.

"A fundamental message of this book, and many ancient wisdom teachings, is that we are co-creators of our own reality and that the Golden Age is therefore just around the corner, all the time, for all of us. To embrace it we must set aside the negative patterns and reference frames of the past, let go of rigid habits of thought that serve us no longer, and be willing to accept a permanent shake-up in our outlook on just about everything."

Graham Hancock

For those of you unfamiliar with David's work, he has a website I highly recommend, called Divine Cosmos that explores many current topics as well as ancient mythology, astronomy, the economy, whistle blowers and the current state of affairs our planet finds itself. He lectures all over the country and has already written a sequel called The Synchronicity Key and co-authored another book I highly recommend called The Reincarnation of Edgar Cayce, that is literally a mind blower.

Tellis S. Papastravo

# 2 Gnosis And The Law

Gnosis And The Law written by Tellis S. Papastravo (1972), is essentially the spiritual history of the human race starting about 7 million years ago to the present day. This book basically tells the story of how a newly passed edict in our Cosmos required all planets to Ascend to a higher evolutionary state, this edict was passed in what we would refer to as the year 1952. At that time there were 49 planets in our Cosmos that would require divine intervention, our planet Earth is one of those planets.

Several dispensations were created to help in this process, one of these was to allow the spiritual hierarchy to communicate in a form we know as channeling (note this began in 1952, the same year the Council of Nine were first heard from). A transmutation of individual Karmic liability was allowed for most of the Earth's population. A lower vibrational Earth was created for souls unwilling to let go of their evil ways to have a place to incarnate too (after 'death'), so as not to interfere with the Ascension process developing on Earth.

Perhaps the most profound dispensation was to allow Ascended Masters and Cosmic Beings the ability to put into publication through the written word, books pertaining too the Law of Life and Cosmic Knowledge. However due to the nature of our society many of these books have been censored, banned and outright ignored.

The Gnosis And The Law is essentially a compilation of all this material that has been verified as accurate in one handy manual, organized in an orderly form and sequence. This book pulls no punches, while seeking to determine and define God's Truth, while firmly recognizing that many of man's own preconceived notions based on erroneous data, misleading information and distorted truth will be challenged.

The reason I found this book so compelling is that it cleared up a lot of information I had learned through other less complete books. Written in a matter of fact form, it stated many truths, that completed bits and pieces of stories I had learned elsewhere and showed a more complete picture of a very complex story.

It cleared up when 'The Fall of Man' took place, why it happened and how it was allowed to happen. This book clears up many esoteric misconceptions man has had about his origins. It explains why intervention from Ascended Masters is not allowed, why prophets of various religions were not allowed to expand on their teachings and how some races of man simply vanished without a trace.

This book Gnosis And The Law is the spiritual side of David Wilcock's more science oriented The Source Field Investigations and will if the reader finds the courage to read it with an open mind, dispel many of their own confused ideas about the spiritual orientation of humanity.

# 3 Fingerprints Of The gods

Fingerprints Of The Gods by Graham Hancock (1995), reveals through careful research and profound inspiration mankind's hidden past by showing that a sophisticated, technologically advanced and scientifically superior civilization existed in antiquity. He shows that this civilization flourished for thousands of years before a cataclysmic event roughly 12,000 years ago, of global proportions decimated the globe.

Although this book deals mostly with the profound mystery of this vanished race, it also delivers a warning handed down from our ancestors that the cataclysm that destroyed their own civilization, is cyclic and will affect us in the near future. He uses archeological astronomy, geology and computer analysis plus hands on research to decode ancient mysteries and build an intriguing case for a lost civilization that puts ours to shame in terms of sheer technological advancements and spiritual evolution.

The magnitude and scope of this book, from its' starting point exploring the Piri Reis World Map to its' ending, with a step by step case of past Polar Shifts, literally leaves no stone monument unturned exploring ancient knowledge. It makes a convincing case that this ancient civilization built in exacting detail, based on astronomy and advanced mathematics and using technology vastly superior to our own, monuments designed to not only stand the test of time but survive a wide range of cataclysmic events such as global flooding, volcanic eruptions and mega-earthquakes.

This book is the master detective novel uncovering a rich set of clues and following them to their inevitable and dramatic conclusions using insightful and intellectually inspired thinking. Truly a masterpiece from a world re known writer, this fast paced page turner will leave the reader breathless and wanting more. I found this book very difficult to put down, reading well into the night, while hoping it would not end. Highly recommended reading for anyone seeking the truth about our not so distant past.

# 4 The Stargate Conspiracy

The Stargate Conspiracy by Lynn Picknett & Clive Prince, (1999) was original written as a sequel to The Templar Revelation but morphed into a detective/research book, building an incredible convincing case for a world wide conspiracy of twisted disinformation. However what it also does is introduce the reader to a wide variety of information exploring the New Age Movement, that allows the reader to explore a diverse knowledge base in one book.

I have reread this book several times because it provides the reader with such a profound research tool and covers such a wide range of New Age material. The first time I read it I was stunned to learn of the C.I.A.s and S.R.I.s (Stanford Research Institute) involvement in pyramid research and Egyptology.

The authors provide the reader with a painstakingly well researched and complete step by step argument for their assertion that the New Age Movement is nothing less than a propaganda tool for the intelligence community to mind control the masses. They show how New Age authors will often use each others work as evidence of their own theories, rely solely on channeled material for unprovable theories and that channeling could very well be a form of hypnosis.

While I'm not completely convinced that the entire New Age Movement is under the spell of a vast worldwide conspiracy, they do make a compelling argument for this assertion. The book does uncover and reveal a vast amount of evidence that this conspiracy does exist in one form or another and that the reader should beware of what they take as the gospel truth. As with all scientific theories, the collection of data and knowledge is based on observation by the individual scientist and who knows what influences he or she maybe under or whom is signing their paycheck.

READER BEWARE!

# 5 Cataclysm

Cataclysm by D. S. Allan & J. B. Delair, (1997), While this, relatively unknown book, about exactly what the title implies, could very well have been made into four or five books because of the incredibly vast amount of research, references and material it covers, it is used by many authors to base their own conclusions and books on, such as Catastraphobia by Barbara Hand Clow.

This book can be a challenge even for the dedicated, well read reader to wade through, as it simply covers a monumental storehouse of scientific, archeological and geological data to support its main thesis. It spend an inordinate amount of pages and the readers time thoroughly destroying the antiquiated 200 year old Ice Age theories created in the early nineteenth Century. It shows through forensic fossil evidence, censored reports and documents, that most modern scientist have discarded the glacial periods of the Pleistocene Era as completely false, contrived and without scientific merit.

This book is so convincing in scope and magnitude, that it is little wonder the scientific community has scoffed and ridiculed its conclusions. It not only destroys many modern theories of the creation of our world but questions the integrity of our modern education system. Many scientific egos are laid to waste in its pages, while showing why the establishment is slow to admit their erroneous thinking, antiquiated ideas and obvious propagandized theories.

While the book Cataclysm sets out to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that an event of cosmic proportions decimated our world around 9,500 years ago completely reshaping our world, what it really does is show how thoroughly our education system and world view has been shaped through censorship, ridiculous theories based on false scientific data and propaganda to obscure the truth about not just our origins but our ancient ancestors and the shaping of our planet Earth itself.

The true cataclysm will be to the readers paradigm or world view after reading this apocalyptic tour de force!

Cataclysm takes The Stargate Conspiracy to a whole new level, thoroughly dashing theory after theory against the rocks of true scientific data that has been so completely censored from mainstream society as to leave the reader reeling in wonder that we could be so completely and easily deceived. This book doesn't suggest alternative theories or make any outrageous claims it proves them beyond a shadow of a doubt. Using the same scientific inquiry used to conceive our current world view, it provides references to report after report on just how laughable and ill-conceived our current paradigm is.

The censorship and ridicule this book has received from the mainstream scientific community should be all the reader needs to recognize how thoroughly well researched and convincing is the material within. The conclusions this book has to offer is inescapable even for the most die hard skeptics, because it leaves no topic or avenue open to say . . . yeah but!

Hands Down, MUST READ!

Propaganda?

Do you think the New Age Movement has been hi-jacked by The Powers That Be to censor ancient knowledge and artifacts?

  • Yes, it seems entirely possible.
  • No, I think the New Age Movement has maintained its integrity.
  • I think the New Age Movement is all gobbly-gook.

Conclusions

These five books will provide any truth seeker with enough material to keep them busy for months. All five of these books have such a vast and thorough reference section that one could easily be entertained just by going to the links and websites, reading the books in bibliography and watching the related videos on You Tube.

Although I have ranked them in the order of how they have impacted my knowledge base, they can easily be read in any order without missing a beat. For the New Age skeptic The Stargate Conspiracy will provide you with the kind of information to support your ideas. For those of you that find truth in the censorship of our ancient past Cataclysm and The Fingerprints of the Gods will open up new avenues of discovery.

For those of you that find the spiritual aspect of the New Age experience so inspiring Gnosis And The Law is unparalleled in scope and magnitude. But for those of you that just want to ponder new realities, possibilities, modern scientific discoveries and paranormal experiences of an unprecedented scale then The Source Filed Investigations are for you.

I hope you have enjoyed reading this article as much as I have in writing it and feel free to share with me your favorite New Age books in the comment section. Of course, one of them maybe in the second part of this article Top Ten New Age Books For Truth Seekers, 6 thru 10, see you then . . .

Hello, Blue,

You have amassed an amazing array of terms and books of great knowledge. I started my trek with books by Erich von Daniken, Edgar Cayce and Ruth Montgomery. And, the show, Ancient Aliens has some good information, but it has its share of gobbly-gook, as you call it.

We live in an age where information is streaming in at a phenomenal

rate. It seems only yesterday that we were climbing out of caves and learning to make fire and here we are, today, standing on the cusp of

more knowledge than we can grasp due to time constraints.

My hat is off to you for gathering some new super books to read. We

can never know too much. The more I learn, the more I find, out there, that needs to be learned.

Great info, Blue. When I slow down a bit, I would love to dip my toes

into this vat of new books - new knowledge.

Many thanks,

DJ.

Your welcome, and I still have not yet finished the top 10 list, still five more to go!

I read somewhere that NASA is 10 years behind in downloading astronomical information to the internet because it is coming in so fast they can't keep up.

Thanks for the positive feedback.

Very interesting. I have heard of most of these topics through the Association for Research and Enlightenment (ARE), the Edgar Cayce Foundation. I volunteer at the Houston center.

Through all the gobbledegook, I have come to the conclusion that one person should not kill or harm another person. This is the test for "scripture." I am trying to raise awareness, that God is Good, never evil. All evil comes from Man, not God. All evil is a projection of Man.

You might be amazed at all the flack I get from fundamentalist Christians over this simple teaching.

No, I wouldn't be amazed as I think the whole concept that Jesus died on the cross for our sins was contrived to allow the Christian Faithful to go out and kill in the name of God because they think that their sins (murder) is covered by this concept.

He died publicly so that when he came back it would show people that reincarnation is a reality and that you don't die, the body merely perishes not the soul.
