The "Urban Sprawl"...

Is Spread Out Wall-to-Wall.

The forests dense with life...so prestine and pure...

Have been torn up, paved, and plumbed with an 8 ft. high sewer.

Where the cows once grazed along a rural farm road barb fence...

Are now strip centers, model homes,...and completely filled with a human population that is dense.

Man has every right to Land...

As long as it is managed properly by his hand.

There is no sense in tearing down woods...and pasture land...

To put up another convenience store...and another hamburger stand.

5 years from now...this neighborhood will be on the decline...

When it was previously...an undisturbed habitat...since the dawn of time.

You will pop this subdivision up...in a short period of days...

And leave behind the way it was...and change it to your ways.

But...where will you be 10 years from now...when your strip center sits vacant...

You won't even come out to paint it...just use it as a write-off in lieu of payment.

The wonderful countryside with a beautiful view...

Most now conform and adjust to whatever it is ...you do!

Man needs a place to sprawl...It is as natural as the world we are in...

But man has no right to take with out giving back...Give nature a chance to return again.

If your real estate deal goes bust...and your building sits like part of a ghost town...

Then take responsibilty for what you created...knock that useless thing all back down.

We were better served by birds in trees, and mammals...scampering all around...

Then from seeing your ugly ol' empty building sticking up...above the ground.

Man Creates, Man Designs, Man has New Dreams of Projects to do...

But Man builds something permanent...without a long term plan...or even a clue.

Man has taken from this World...and Man has taken from Man...

Still doesn't give any Man the right to take...unless a Man has a Brilliant Plan.

You can not urbanize for one spec of moment in time...

And leave your buildings standing empty...with no use to anybody...of any kind.

"Urban Sprawl"...spreads out across the land....

Almost always...without a long-term plan.

Then wonders in amazement...when "Carmeggeddon" occurs...and everything is congested.

How silly it makes Man look...that he did not plan for this...once his single roadways are infested.

Did you think you could build and build...with out installing a pressure release valve by-pass...

Really...how many people moved into your city last year...how long would your narrow roadways last?

It is really silly when I look at the decisions of them who run a very large metropolitan...

With their awkward plan for growth and lack of vision...Who don't see the mess...like everyone else can.

I drove by a horse pasture today...

It is the only one left, near me...on a street called "Fuqua". [pronounced Fu'-kwá]

It won't be long now before it is paved over...homes and stores will be there...

Eventually they will get older...the newness will soon fade with wear.

People will move in and People will go...

It won't take long for the whole area to change...I know.

Was this the best use of this particular land?

Now that it is old...and empty buildings stand.

Who can say...except there will always be some kind of "Urban Sprawl"...

How can you lay down so much concrete...without a long-term plan...at all?
