Victory And Defeat

Victory and Defeat

On that day……….

He broke through the cold and riverie death

To claim my soul that was distant to death

With every quaking moment of his pain

My soul he did regain

He gave his word has a seal and promise

That no matter the cost his life he gave

That he laid it down my life to reclaim

Even thou the stones were gathered

They stood and watched has he wrote

With the finger of God

Today is the day the soul was reformed

From the dust of hell that hold all so deep

He went there and put hell under his feet

No more longing for something out of reach

Now we sing a song of Victory and Defeat

each morning when i open my eyes i say to myself: i, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. i can choose which it shall be. yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn’t arrived yet. i have just one day, today, and i’m going to be happy in it.God Bless you and yours.
