Waiting to Rise

Waiting to Rise...

Treading thoughtfully in newfound breath

Trying to fill gaps that defined till death

Making amends to heal the parts felt within

Attempting to heal the outside not herein

Being not what the demeanor has been

Comprehending beyond, into the unseen

Exercising special caution with utterances

Checking on the emoting heart’s nuances

Keeping the mind sane, at bay, in the mix

This is the virtue of reality that needs to fix

For all holy waters that flown away into abyss

Taking along what meant happiness and peace

Praying sanity in mind, patience in the moment

Respect and Understanding in all temperament

Enduring time for silver shine to bounce back

Suppressing nerves and Waiting on the track

Hoping fruits to bloom in the wake of realization

And Rise in Fall, above the bygone aberration

You are a very good poet. The way you put the thoughts within to express without is awesome.

Thanks very much Phyllis Doyle. I really appreciate your time and generous admiration. As you may see I don't get many comments, but I write for myself, & on being insisted by a few close ppl in life I started publishing on Hubpages. So I was always fine with or without comments & these rare positive remarks I get make me appreciate their value even more. Thank you.
