Wake Up I Want To Play

It Doesn't Matter Your A Sleep

The Time Is 4:23 A.M.

I get up

My cat hears hundreds of birds chirping away

Of course she is fired up

So this is what happened

I was dreaming so wonderfullly and my body so relaxed

Then there was a crash

Thrown for a loop I bounced up delarious to what it could be

My cat Charlettte was to blame

She has nocked the portable phone off the little table

She was bent on distruction

The phone has been there for years without a problem

Is she is trying to tell me something ?

Instead of scolding her for what we think is wrong

I should praise her for telling me something I can't not see

Giving her more cat dry food since her bowl was empty

We always fill her bowl before we go to bed

As i stumble my way across the hall

My eyes not focused and still half shut

Walking directly to the refridgerator to get the milk out

I grab a box of cereal from the cabnet and put it down on the counter

I figure since I am up I might as well eat too

Looking at her dish I realized she hasn't touched it

On the Hub Pages I go to make my time more productive

Missing my mouth I mistakenly pour the first spoonful to my lap

This is harder than it looks

My cat up in the window and she hasn't moved since

Bed looks so good

Rubbing the sleep from my eyes

Cats are curious especially when they are still young

i hear swawk ,swalk,swalk

What kind of bird does that ?

In the background I hear the normal sounds

Chirp , chirp,chirp

Now this is real life and anything goes

No rehearsing no practice drills

Still tired I slouch in my seat

Reading what I just wrote

Now you see what I am up against

i will give it one more try

I reached my final decision

I have done enough and now off to bed

A life without sleep is not the life I need

Ah cats. Mine used to wake me up as soon as the sun rose because either she was hungry or chasing birds at my window. Cute but obnoxious. Lol. I feel your pain. :)

Sunny River My cat is clawing at our screen a moth is on the other side. She put so many holes in our screen door it had to be replaced. We paid for a screen that is cat proof. The cats claws don't tear it I love it.Well worth it.I love their antics even when I am not in the mood.Their energy level is high and the joy of seeing them happy makes it all worth it.Thanx for reading and sharing.

This was delightful. Oh, the joy of living with a cat. My Sid has moved outdoors into our garden now that the warm weather is here. However there is a ritual. Every morning at 6 AM he knocks on our bedroom door. Yes, knocks I still don't know how but manages to do that. Then we have some food for him in a bowl and it's crunch, crunch. After that while I'm still trying to get some sleep he hops up on the bed strolls up between the two of us and starts butting his head to get love and attention. Last time that happened I fell asleep with a tail in my face. lol
