Cool ways to Harness Creativity as a Hubpages content writer or Blogger

A Sleeping Beauty if I ever seen one before - I love this Pigeon

I captured this image myself, and at 14th street Union Square this spring in NYC, and boy was it the best photo I have ever been responsible for coming up with. This one for the record is spectacular indeed, and awe inspiring in itself.

Etching words into digital stone creatively

There are many ways a person can tap into their creativity, to come up with some pretty awesome results as a hubpages author. This hub will address this aspect to help those looking for more ways to write with a flair of creative writing. It doesn't have to always turn out the way you planned at all, sometimes the unplanned forms of writing, become the best creative forms, because chaos is what it does for us all.

Spontaneity as well works amazingly too as a writer, and to just begin writing anything that comes to mind may work wonders. I like to begin with a keyword, and any single word that has some action or use behind it, and then I go at it, with as many thoughts I can muster up that surround such a term.

This is what I call the finding of that good ole writers voice, and once everything is said and done with, you will soon have your very first unedited draft, and whether it be done on the hub editor, or on some sort or word processing program, such as Microsoft Office or Word.

Nature inspires

When you step out into the wilderness the smell of cedar, and pine, the animals running freely is pure inspiration, the sense of freedom resonating not only in your head, but also that of your heart. The fresh air is something that we all crave for within, and internally seeking the natural organic effects on the body, and if you brought any kind of camera with you, the surrounding will instantly grip your camera lens as a sort of gravitational field effect pulling you in, springing fourth even further inspiration to write, once you arrive back home.

This is the moment where inspiration occurs for most people, and it may require you to simply quit thinking about your every day problems, and to emerge into the scenery as you see fit.

As a child my mother placed me in front of the television, and put on the CBS Station (Central Broadcasting Station), there I had watched many cool shows like Sesame Street, 3-2-1 Contact, This Old House, Nova, and the Nature Program. I believe this is where all of my minds creativity began, and as a youth growing up I steered towards nature, arts and crafts, enjoying the great outdoors, and much more of the natural connection, but most of all I loved watching animals, and how insects interact with that of the environment.

Real Life Inspires

Going through true struggles of adversity in life, moments of great change such as having to move multiple times from one neighborhood to the next one. Things like watching your friends who lived next door to you lose a loved one, or one of your family members losing their life, is all issues we all tend to deal with, and are those which may tend to inspire a great deal of creativity, as a form of expressing such tender emotions. Many hubbers here actually are into writing from the core from their heart such as Billybuc, Josh3418, AEvans, Sholland10, and so many more awesome hubbers, oh and let me not forget Deborah Brooks, oh yes she writes from the heart for sure.

True life is a inspirational means to a specific end of sorts, and mode of helping writers to develop their creative side from pure experiences. It can make all the difference if you learn to cultivate such a craft yourself, because people are out here in the world searching aimlessly for such stories of true inspiration. So it is important not to forget that aspect of being a creative writer, which is to try to inspire others with your words of creativity, and bring imagery along to open up that of them imagination of your readers.

Coping with loss of life creatively

I learned how to cope with the loss of both my mother and my grandfather (Two heart felt philosophical hubs I've written) by using this writing voice I've been developing, and it does indeed help me channel a bit of the anger, the bitterness, the displaced emotions, thoughts of despair, and the likes.

Instead what occurs is, I find myself opening up more pathways to creativity as I go along, using such modes of thought to gravitate towards, and off of as a sort of logical platform of sorts, that helps me to digitally take a stand for what I believe in today thanks to the human relationship being expressed through creative terminology at times.

This is no different from a person who resides to using their spiritual faith, religion, or philosophies in life to stand for their perspective approach to how they deal with everything in their lives, and especially how they manage to reinforce their standards of moral codes, and ways of courage, as well as honor, and commitments to any particular cause.

Love & Family Inspires

The closeness of a families tight bond and affections for one another is a magical place, where a writer can draw from his or her thought powers to express many moods. Anywhere from happiness, moments of extreme celebrations, holidays, joy, empathy, exchanging of gifts, and so many more are all reason to write with a flair of pure enjoyment.

Cheering one another along the way also helps when dealing with family members, so I recommend you try to get your family involved in your writing process. It will truly change the way you see things altogether (I encouraged my brother to join hubpages, and my Uncle), because they may even give it a try someday, and help you as well to mature as a writer, and this form of collaborative family generated creativity is one of the most powerful inspirations of them all.

Mother Nature Strikes back!

My truest connections with mother nature has always been a very tightly knit one as I mentioned earlier in this article, the only thing though that was wrong is that I lived in a major U.S. City, in New York, and it was difficult for me to go to the mountains as a youngster, I always had to wait for the summer time, and after school had ended, which was O.K., especially when I had also knew that growing up poor meant I would have to wait a long time, to be able to see nature up close and personal on my very own.

For that time period in my life though, it wasn't much of a problem to me because my mom would send me to sleep away camp every summer, which sort of tamed my craving for being back at my true home I had called it (up in my little ole head), year after year.

I think this is where my creativity simply began to explode in my mind, every time I made it back to sleep away camp, and I will never forget the name of them two awesome camps, one was called Camp Clear Pool, located in upstate New York, and the other was known as Camp Madison, also located somewhere in Upstate, this one however was founded by the Boys & Girls Club of America.

Looking through eyes of the world today as a Man

Today as a man I'm so determined to succeed in life so creativity is an automatic thing and mandatory for me to survive. I have always been driven, and over motivated so that I can make many great adventures back into the wilderness some day for long stretches of time, hopefully for many years, and to bring a professional camera with me, as well as video camera is a dream, because I think my calling is to become a professional photographer some day.

I find it to be awe inspiring to take pictures, and then be able to write about them, and or the feeling they give off on me, and I just cannot wait to venture off into it all, if the lord permits such an occurrence. The funny thing about life is everything comes full circle sometimes, I was born and raised poor, and now I'm poor by choice today in order to harness my creativity to the max.

Hub marathon writers & spreading the hub love

Please be advised all whom have chosen to spread the hub love for me, I've been on a hubbing marathon of sorts, and won't be turning back, I would like to say thanks to all of my hub loving supporters who have been there to follow little ole me, and into the depths of my imagination, into many fragments of my life, philosophies, and all. My friends you all know who you are, and its over 500 of you, and still climbing, I owe all the inspirations to write, and my current online freelancing motivation to you all.

This hub is soon to be converted into a video hub, and so I just wanted my readers to know of such a thing, because I would like to try and inspire folks to give video hubbing a try as well, and especially with inspirational subjects such as my good friend Billybuc loves to write, or even them cool limericks that Josh3418 enjoys writing about, with his super comedic self. Oh they are both hub marathon writers in their own right as well, give their profile a look, and they both just got done winning them cool hubbie awards, and truly deserved it too. Enjoy!

The good thing about writing from inspiration is that you will always want to write more and more and you will always have something to write about. Great inspiring article, voted up, useful and shared.

I got mentioned twice in one hub? What did I ever do to deserve friends such as you, Mike! You are the genuine thing; you give back to the community each and every day, buddy, and that is a sign of compassion and humanity that I will follow to the end of my days.

Bravo on yet another great hub from the heart. You are my kindred spirit on HubPages and in life.

These are great tips for inspiration. I am one of those people that have to write and then take a break between Hubs. I am constantly searching for inspiration and trying to learn how to write better Hubs.

I think everyday problems seem to be the biggest barrier to my inspiration. I'm going to take your advice and go get some fresh air and see some nature. This might be difficult for me as I live in Southern California in the inner city and I am poor too like you.

@remaniki, Well what I summed up here couldn't have occurred without all the helpful inspiring comment from folks like yourself, and its the very reason why I keep steady at being an intense hubber who is determined to make a difference for the likes of other elsewhere.

Inspirational subjects such as this one, are yet another cool way to stimulate motivation in others, and so hopefully this hub will do it job that its set out to do for those who are looking for such inspiration today, and for the future to come as well.

Thanks for leaving me such a cool message, and for taking the time to give my hub a good overview, and feedback is always welcome by me, both positive as well as negative too.

Cool beans remaniki, see you soon in your hubs.

@dwachira, Yeah bro you know how it is, when life may get you down a bit at times, and the only thing that seems to lift us up is some words of inspiration. Oh yes indeed words are powerful like that.

Thanks for the support here man, its something that I definitely appreciate from all those who choose to share with me.

Cheers! to inspirational Hub writing.

@Gamerelated, I just got back from reading one of your hubs about Cloud Storage, and so I understand what you mean, it was packed with useful info, and so it is tough when pulling so much mental resources together of research powers and all into a single place.

It is tough indeed, hubbing without rest, and so my only secret though of hubbing so intensely is the fact that this is my primary career function today, and I made hubbing a full time thing in my life, and at time I go overtime with it as well.

Thanks for the cool comment and the visit bro, oh and congrats on the hubnugget nomination as well. Welcome to an awesome writers community.

Mike -

A very inspirational hub (no pun intended).

Where a person gets their inspiration is, many times, a personal choice based on their moods, as well as, likes and dislikes. The spontaneity you discuss has always worked well for me. A hub comment, a news item, a personal experience, an attack against something I believe in.... are just some of the things that strike the flame and ignites the writing.

You seem to have no lack of inspiration. The versatility you demonstrate in the wide array of topics you cover is amazing. I admire your ability to take a subject and bring it to life, visually and emotionally. It's a shame someone else didn't write this hub and have your name listed as one that inspires, also.

Great Job!

Mike, this has truly given me lots to write about and to reflect on. My life has had many changes and adversities. Some that have happened in my life and other times as a spectator of a loved ones life( hardest of all).

This hub reminds me that whilst sheltering my full identity for safety reasons, I have not quite given enough of myself, which is possibly the cause of my temporary writer's block.

Thank you so much, pinned x

Thanks once again for being so kind to me, and for taking the time to give my hub here a good read, you are truly a good person for this, and I assure you it is going to pay off with me big time, as well as for you. Awesome stuff!

Thanks for the cool comment and visit@flashmakeit,

Oh yes flash photography is something that is becoming an interesting thing to pursue today, and ever since I left using my smart phone alone, and moved on to a high powered camcorder.

I can't wait to give a pro camera a try, but I will take my time though for sure with it all, and may wanna go to photography school before doing so, so that I don't waste my money and time investment, you know.

@rcrumple, Inspiration is no joke, it tends to happen to me at the spur of the moment at times, and I need to be near a pc in order to jot down all the thoughts that begin running through my head, once it occurs.

This is why being online I guess is going to become a huge payoff for me, in terms of being able to share all these cool inspirations that keep coming to me on a daily basis.
