We Will Dance
his wild, matted locks flying
all about him
wreathed in flame
he reminds me of some incarnation
dancing to a hypnotic, throbbing
intoxicated by both the rigors of
and the trance of the dance
so i think to myself, Dionysus must be
the One who consumes us all at last
pouring libations, Aquarius-like
which rain in a deluge on every head
drowning us in our own
at the end of the time
we too will dance
