What Purpose have I?

What is the fire

that kindles the action

pushes one to live?

Each to their own

may they endure.

to act is better then not.

hot or cold is the way

not a state of nature unaided

rather a state of existence

measured results

destiny caused by passions sated.

As for me fair friends

especially those most bewildered at my path

I have some family

dearly departed.

your family too, though unknown

unacknowledged, forgotten.

These I remember

for these I live

in this fire

I drive and am driven

for this purpose do I live.

I am sure your loved ones who have passed away are proud of you; grateful for your concern and drive.

Yes, what is the fire?

As I have come to believe, it is a call to action that comes from becoming interested in one's fellow. It is a driving force that keeps one accountable day after day to what one is willing to do toward one's aims.

Why thank you my dear. This fire I am referring to is mine but it doesn't have to be yours. Personally I think it should be everyone's but it's not per say. Many good people get really close though.

I think we all have our own Fire, and Passions, that is what make us Unique. As a Writer, Jaggedfrost, you have Expressed yours Poignantly.

I would hope so. It is nice to hear from you. I wrote this to promote the kindling of the flames of writers that read this.
