That Would be Awesome
If each day could come and go
Looking back at each day when we were happy and having fun
We could freeze that special moment to relive at anytime
If it was a wedding that we enjoyed or a cookout with the family
A birthday or a nice car ride with the windows open
Our minds could go back to enjoy millions of times
It would play as if it was happening today
Everyone else would go on with their day as normal
We could just disappear in time and relive the best times of our lives
Where only minutes passed but our minds have been tricked to think it was hours or even a whole day
We could come back with all the feelings of all the greatest times of our lives
Ready at any time to relive them over and over again
How special would that be ?
To spend a summer day over with an old friend
Seeing our baby girl come into the world
The day at work when you got promoted or a raise
Your first love when you both connected and felt amazing
Time with your dad even though he has passed many years ago
Sharing who knows what with who knows who
All that mattered was the greatest feelings you felt at that time
It like putting a camcorder on rewind and playing it over and over in our head
We are a participant in all the action
We are not a spectator with a view
We know how it is going to turn out and we know we are happier than we have ever been
Seeing life unfold like a story book we have made and enjoyed many times

Pleasure after pleasure
Enjoyed more than before
Life is grand when we see it this way
Off to an old memory that sailed me away
To laugh so loud and feel so proud
Surrounded by all my loved ones that make my life unique
Now that is the life that I know
From the beginning of every day to the end of every week
Lifes thrills can never be cast aside and left as distant memories soon forgotten
They are lived for as long and when they are needed
