A Better Day

When

When others call you names,

show no fear or that you care.

Do not play in their games,

Their jealousy, you must not declare.

When things go wrong some days,

don't ask "Why Me", but go on.

Tomorrow will be a day of no regrets,

so take no blame, or atone.

When life knocks you down,

don't lie and wallow in this grief.

Get up and face the shortfalls,

to count your blessings, in your relief.

For every nighttime worry, or tear,

the sun rises at the dawn.

So take heart again in the new day,

then all your worries will be gone.

When I feel pressure or threatened , or just have worries about the future, I read my poem over again; it helps me face the new day.

In my appreciation and as a follower of Rudyard Kipling, I wrote this short poem, and I hope all who read it enjoy.

This is dedicated to my friends on Hub Pages, and for whom after reading their works, give my fondest reply and my understanding in their feelings...yet, I might ask, is this not, much the story of us all?

Sometimes when we read what we have written in the past, it gives us a new hope for a better day. whonu

Sometimes we feel pressure or stress that we don't realize at first, until it begins to make us ill.I remember this poem I once wrote at these times and read it once again, just as my own reminder that life is going to be okay. whonu
