When I Think of You: A Poem

When I think of you,

A thousand thoughts float through my head,

Like snowflakes falling softly to the ground,

They whisper what I know to be true of you:

Witty, sarcastic, intelligent, and clever,

Your brain is intricate and vast,

Charming, kind, friendly, and thoughtful,

You are exceptional and honorable,

Handsome, attractive, strong, and cute,

You turn my head with every reflection of you,

When I think of you,

A thousand thoughts float through my head,

But I'll never show you the blizzard inside of me.

Simple but with honest feeling and depth. What good writing is and should be.

NateB11: Thank you! Yes, above all this was honest. I wrote it quickly without much editing.

I like the clarity in this poem. It's good and I enjoyed reading.

Erin,

I read your entry here, and saw your small enclosure(s):

"Love Quotes", clicked and found:

"Glowing Hunger"

"...Dreams might give you solace in the night,

Yet if there's no morning, you can't have sight..."

Pleasant words!

I will return here to enjoy your poetry.

Thank you,

pochinuk
