When My Leg Cramps For No Reason At All
Unexpected Temporary Setbacks
When you wake up and you try to walk and you limp your way
Your leg cramps and causes you pain today
You shake it carefully and talk to it in a low voice so no one can hear you
When you know it worked perfectly yesterday and you never gave it a reason to question why?
You feel healthy and maybe you twisted it in your sleep
Is it possible that I could have injuried it in a nightmare that I don't remember
Maybe I was being chased and I jumped and broke it in a fall
How crazy would that be when I try to explain that to my doctor when I call
There has to be a logical explanation that I seek
Maybe my wife kicked me in my sleep and it just hurts because I am feeling the pain now when I am awake
I sit hear and try to take my mind off of my troubles
My right leg is fine my left leg is sore
I will try to stretch it some more
I am trying to think of why it is bothering me now
I walked all day yesterday and it did everything a normal leg would do
Nothing out of the ordinary
No physical strenuous feats that would cause my leg to ache
I feel like I am a hypocondriac and this is something they would fake
A pain that goes to the bottom of my leg that makes it difficult to walk
Even when I sit it hurts
My foot feels fine
I keep thinking this discomfort has to be in my mind
Go away go away please go away
I didn't do anything to you
So why are you doing this to me
If I could call you a name it would be you are a - - n of a B - - !
But for now I will try some how to make you better
The day is early and I will continue to rub my leg until it is fine
Then I will be on to bigger and better things
Like teaching my cat to learn how to sing
