Where Are You? (a poem)

How do I find you

within a sea of unknowns

lost in my dreams,

a blur of reality and fantasy.

Our love is lost

among the stolen moments

of a fast-paced world,

unable to see my sadness.

Trying to get to what was,

I retrace my steps.

Recreation of a history

already forgotten.

Driving down the roads

that were once ours,

I hope to catch a glimpse.

Sitting by the phone,

waiting for you to remember.

Good poem, I can sense the loss, want, waiting and searching. I hope that love is found.

Great poem. You have painted a very vivid picture of what most of us have experienced but can't put into words as you have done.

Relatable and nicely written. I like the reflective tone of this poem.
