Where Birds Sing And Love Shines Through.
Welcome one and all when I started out on today's hub I didn't really know what the title would be; however as my fingers worked their way across the keyboard I realised that it was going to be on finding true love; not being afraid to love and allowing someone who has become so important to you in to your heart; to see the real you.
To learn to push that all consuming fear to one side ; to learn to trust someone ; to conquer that fear of being hurt once again!!!
To allow someone close enough to see the real you; but above all we have to learn to love ourselves.
Yes by now I had to admit that this hub is about my own experiences and slowly but surely conquering all of the above
Back in 2002 I found the strength to leave my marriage of 26 years to an abusive alcoholic and swore that I would never again enter into another relationship!!
However 'never' is a long time and today I can proudly tell you all (as many of you already know) that I have found my soul mate, my true love.
We have now been together for eight years and our love just grows each and every day.
So to anyone out there who feels like I once did please do not totally close those doors to your heart because you never know what life will bring to you.
I am so glad that I didn't lock up mine or I would never be experiencing the happiness I have found today!! We all deserve to be happy and I will eternally appreciate from the bottom of my heart the day that my Dai came into my life.
