Where Love Grows

By Tony DeLorger © 2011

It is all I can do,

to envision your gentle face,

your radiant smile,

your calm acceptance.

Each time we part,

your heart remains,

the essence of you,

imbuing my life

with possibility.

Only a moment has passed,

a spec of the infinite,

yet we are strong,

each the half of a whole.

I am lost

in your deep crystal pools,

your wonder,

your tender awakening,

and I question no longer,

the purpose,

knowing in my heart,

just to be, with you.

Words flow,

emotions captive,

longing to touch, to hold

where love grows

in heart’s surrender.

Great piece of work, Tony. "Imbuing my life with possibility" captures the essence of the condition of love which is often stated but rarely expressed as well. Thank you.

Thanks Suzette, I appreciate it. The photographs I use are generally from flickr.com, but I do spend time choosing them as I realise they add so much impact to the words. I'm glad you enjoy the results.

The photographs are as dazzling as the poetry. Are these photographs you have taken? They are beautiful as are the ones on other hubs of yours. I'm am enjoying your writing.
