Who first will tire of these lines .......

Will it be you my friends or I
that will grow tired of them first
As yet though there is simply no quenching
though nearly
drowning of this thirst

The soul bleeds profusely at times for us
all and yet we never bleed dry
From the hands of such writing
answers come and
go but why

And what do I really need from
you or you need from me
Thirsting while looking at an ocean of water
all the horizon to see

Yet we cannot drink tthe salton mix
as pleasurable as the cool water all seems
Yet come with this soul on a journey we'll try
we can do anything in dreams

I promise I'll never tire of listening through your plight
as we share our desparations
And you too can have mine there lies the value
of our written frustrations

who will tire first you or I

Absolutely awesome. I don't think I will ever tire... I may drift away occaisonally, but as long as my hands will work, I will write... Voted up and awesome!

great reflective poetry my friend .. when the sun sets we poets always onder if we left any words unwritten, any thoughts still lingering , any words hanging in the readers mind . Always wondering.. never satisfied

Who can ever tire of your magnificent poetry? The beauty you are able to express is uplifting even if inspired by depression. Don't ever get tired of "spoiling" us with your poems or depriving us of them

Beautifully expressed! I think people are far less quick to tire of "listening" to someone else's desperation when it is is written form, though.
