Why Presidents Get Grey Hair (limerick)

When they voted me president

Unsure of what this honor meant

My crown would soon tumble

As honor did crumble

To one whom all grumbles were sent

Reminds me of Luke 12:48 "From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked."

Love the hat!

Voted up ++++ and sharing

God bless, Faith Reaper

It's the voters who have gray hair now!

I've noticed our young president is getting quite a few gray hairs, perhaps far beyond those his actual years would bring!

I read somewhere that Harry Truman had the sign 'the buck stops here' on his desk...this reminded me of that:-))

Very, very true. Stress comes with the job and grey hair with the stress.

...and the master continues. Your little slices of life with a laugh are so enjoyable and such truisms. I look forward to seeing them. It's an added bonus when they pop out in the morning.

As for being President, well, every buck stops there, yes? I always wonder how they have any hair left.

Take care.

When a president stumbles,

He soon hears grumbles,

As well as a deadline

To leave town on a red line.
