Wiggle of Hips

Wiggle of Hips poem

Wiggle of Hips

Wiggle of Hips

When my tears dried

I looked down to see

I was in one piece

You’re troubled times

Helped me mainstay

The dancer at heart

Lips so sweetly kissed

The dance began

With a wiggle of hips

I turned this way and that

My body so enraptured

Music had me captured

Your hand snatched my throat

Your own creation

Limbs moving right in time

Tempo’s climbing

Desires subsiding

That last glassy look

As I laid there dying

When I read the title, I expected some sensual verse, but then you surprise me with wonderful composition. Your choice of expressions are superb.
