Winter's Fall: A Poem
Buried under the snow,
We were trapped in a bleak winter,
But the clouds rolled back,
And the warmth soon returned,
As the sun rose high in the sky,
Quietly, the ice began to melt,
Like a blanket being pulled back,
The green grass emerged,
And hope was restored,
As the animals came out to play,
We smiled at the brilliant sight,
Knowing that spring was here,
A brand new beginning,
After a long winter of darkness.
