- John Quincy Adams
Adapt what is useful, reject what is useless, and add what is specifically your own.
- Bruce Lee
Why do we read quotes?
For inspiration, right? But how long does that last? A day or two?
Well, most of us have great potential, but there is always one things that we lack that keeps us from succeeding -- and that thing is our unfocused mind.
Back in the old days, people didn't have the "luxury" of advanced technology as we do now. They also didn't have the distractions. I am not implying that technology is a curse or anything. I love it! In fact if it wasn't for the computer and the internet, most of us would have very different lives. And not necessarily a good one.
Technology is great, but it's also a distraction. Have free time to kill -- I will watch some T.V. I'll do the important things later.
And beside from the few disciplined ones, most of us can't help it. Or at least we think we can't. But we can.
Technology, if anything, is a blessing!
We all know the famous quote from the movie The Spider Man: With great power comes great responsibility.
Technology is great power. But it's our responsibility to use it for good. And to do that we have to evolve. While the primitive ones could have gotten away with lack of self control, we can't afford that.
It's about time that we evolve into a species with superior mind control. Or else we won't make it!
So for the sake of our existence, evolve!
Now to do that, you must learn and you must remember. To learn, you must read. And to remember, you must write. Get a notebook, write down the lessons you have learned on it, and read it once in a while to refresh your memory.
Following are some incredibly amazing quotes that will teach you important life lessons. Read and enjoy!
We can't solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them.
- Albert Einstein
Inspiring Quotes by Albert Einstein
- Great spirits have often encountered violent opposition from weak minds.
- Any intelligent fool can make things bigger, more complex, and more violent. It takes a touch of genius -- and a lot of courage -- to move in the opposite direction.
- The release of atom power has changed everything except our way of thinking... the solution to this problem lies in the heart of mankind. If only I had known, I should have become a watchmaker.
- Insanity is doing the same thing, over and over again, but expecting different results.
These are many lessons you can learn from these quotes by Albert Einstein. For instance, his first quote teaches us one of the most important lesson about success.
When you have big dreams, you will face many obstacles on the way, but that's a part of life, and that shouldn't stop you. Never give up!
It also means that when you are on the path to greatness, there will always be people to stop you. To laugh at you. To pull you down. You should expect that and be prepared for it.
Great is different from normal. And you don't get to be normal.
Most people underestimate the obstacles they are going to face. They say they will never give up, but often they do, and they believe they did so because they had a good reason.
You'll always find a reason.
The easiest thing to find in this world is a reason to give up.
- Dattaraj Pai
Good fortune is what happens when opportunity meets with planning.
- Thomas Edison
Inspirational Quotes by Thomas Edison
- I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work.
- Many of life's failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up.
- Genius is 1 percent inspiration and 99 percent perspiration.

I can never find the thing that does the job best until I find the ones that don’t. - Five percent of the people think; ten percent of the people think they think; and the other eighty-five percent would rather die than think.
- The three great essentials to achieve anything worthwhile are, first, hard work; second, stick-to-itiveness; third, common sense.
The quotes by Thomas Edison are some of the most inspiring quotes I have ever read. I couldn't choose the best of them, so I wrote all.
In the first quote, Edison says he doesn't believe that he has failed. He sees failures as valuable lessons. He believed that whatever he did or didn't -- lead him where he is.
While most people would think that because they have failed at something, it was a waste of their time and efforts, Thomas Edison believes in learning from his mistakes so that he makes better decisions in the future.
That's about the most important lesson one could learn.
You make a mistake -- you know what doesn't work.
Think about it. We make mistakes all the time -- it's a part of living. And if you make an attempt to learn a lesson every time you make a mistake or fail in something, think how much you will learn. How much you will improve.
Do this every day. Before going to bed, get a notebook and write down what you learned that day. Write how you are going to make use of what you have learned.
Eliminate "not clear" thinking and function from your root.

You probably know Bruce Lee as a martial artist and an actor, but he was also a philosopher. Most of his quotes may not be obvious but they do have deep meanings that teach valuable life lessons.
Most people see bad circumstances as a stop sign in their way to success, while some see them as opportunities. These are the people that succeed in life. And their stories are the ones that inspires us.
Either you can choose to stop and blame the circumstances, or you can find a way to keep going despite the circumstances.
