Words - Wisdom on a Forgotten Subject

Watch what comes out of your mouth

Harsh words
stir up anger

Soft words turn away wrath

Holding ones tongue is the best choice

For keeping peace that lasts

A word that’s fitly spoken

Is like an apple made of gold

When spoken from a heart of love

It never will grow old

Words can bring light into darkness

Words have the power of death and life

Before you open your mouth to speak

Perhaps it’s best to think twice

Words build up

Words tear down

Wise words are received with joy

A fool’s words make him look like a clown.
