Words are fun
By Tony DeLorger © 2011
Piquant, piquet, piroque, pirouette,
always loved the Crepe Suzette,
Allay, elapse, imbue, syntax,
too many can cause a heart attack.
Limit, coalesce, relax, just glue it,
I’ve not the inner strength to pursue it.
Placate, berate, believe in fate,
it must be something that I ate.
Bestow, partake, alleviate,
this pain I’ve got in my prostate.
Repel, intell, remediate…
galore, gazette, oh shit I’m late!
Ignore, relate, dispel and spite…
idiom, igloo, docile, plight,
Humid, holocaust, morbidity lost…
juncture, crassness, lost one sock.
Words are this and words are that,
but Crepe Suzettes will make you fat.
