Write it all away ............

Until it's gone
all gone
the angst and the loneliness
the self induced exile
Not any of it was worth it anyhow
and all of it
too important to dismiss
When even those closest seem
too distant and those far away
as near as
touching flesh

Until it's gone
all gone
the anger from ions ago
and the peace of this moment
right now
become one
and
meld into a nano-second of
serenity
And until some one thing changes
or all things remain
as they will
I surrender

Until it's gone
all gone
until nothing remains but
a fluid resignation that all
these mixed emotions
will become whatever
they will
and whenever they do
until then
I will write it all away.........

Write it away.... what a beautiful way of dealing with it. Don't be discouraged, don't dwell on it. Write it away. Great job!

Ed,

Writing is chicken soup for the soul isn't it? I'm betting we'll be writing 'til the day we can no longer pick up a pen! Now all we need is to find that escape in nature where we go to get away and write it all away there! Dreamy :-)

Loved it Ed, Up and Beautiful!

Writing has always been a way for me to let it all out. Keep writing. Til theres nothing left to write about. (but theres always something)

How sad the winter image you paint with your words. I read several times these lines " "The angst and the loneliness, the self induced exile", I ask myself, am I at the stage where there are more memories to re-live than there is life to live? Then I read these lines of gentle acceptance, " The anger from ions ago and the peace of this moment right now become one and meld into a nano-second of serenity" I think it isn't about keeping a journal when you wrote "I will write it all away...." but a renewed faith in continuing life's journey. So much feelings in this poem. Thank you for sharing.

SilentReed , writing is just plain good for us ! Never stop ! It absorbs the anxst , the yearnings , the lonliness . It ensures our happiness ! .......To explain this poem is beyond even me ! lol...thank you for sharing this !........Ed
