You See Rain, I See Liquid Sunshine
Raindrops will not stop.
They have not for days.
This week is so dreary
Making me feel so yucky.
Why won't this rain just go away?
Think of the flowers that soon will bloom.
Look forward to fresh vegetables that the garden will produce.
Smile at the child laughing as she stomps in the puddles.
It is not as fun stomping on a sunny day.
This is the day the Lord has made.
Let us rejoice and be glad,
For everything has it's due season.
Even the rain has a purpose in His plan.
He cannot give a rainbow without first giving the rain.
Sitting on the porch
Listening to the steady drum beat of drops
Falling on the roof.
A reminder to take time to enjoy this day,
To enjoy any day as a gift, even a day
Full of liquid sunshine.
