Found... but still lost

I once was lost,

but now im found.

At heavens gates,

In chains I'm bound.

Too bad for heaven,

too good for hell.

In my place I hide,

hidden away in my shell.

Away from the world,

I hide in tears.

Because in my head,

I have to face my fears.

Like failing in this world,

or dying alone.

How people see me,

is not what I want shown.

People think i have problems,

and that just might be.

In a way im just waiting,

for this body to set me free.

For we are in purgatory,

and this is where we live.

Just trying to make the best of things,

for it's not what you can give.

In this world at least,

it's what you can take.

All thats on the table,

is your soul at stake......

I've often said "life can be a roller coaster ride...blind folded".

Many artists have been aflicted by minds that don't work according to what others consider "the norm". Van Gogh, Frank Zappa...!

Life is a struggle, more so for some than for others, but it is worth living and sharing. You have a talent for expressing yourself. Don't be surprised to discover many more of us relate and appreciate.

Write On.

"How people see me,

I like this line. It's very true. People will always see exactly what they want to, regardless of what you want to show them.
