A Broken and Dusty Loom

The Weaver's Loom of Happiness
The Weaver's Loom of Happiness

A Broken and Dusty Loom

A Broken and Dusty Loom

As we begin to weave our happiness; unquestioned

Two sun sets seen; in every days ending

Unquestioned Knights

The dust settles upon the Loom

As we begin the fight

The shock and awl of It all

The Blue Moon is

Now so unromantic

When did we be come so?

Frantic about the drama

Adorn in apparel; all in the colors of Nude

So unfeathered, untethered; uneaten

The fabric of life; becomes unwoven and droll: unrolled

Moth eaten, unbeaten, unmanaged

Neglected and unprotected

Oh so forlorn-ed; forewarned, unsettling; just heavy metal

Our journey justly begun; unchallenged by anyone

Now challenged by everyone

We are; under the gun

A meat eater now

No longer are we Vegans

Unjustly we became Pagans

Beating down; upon the Hum Drums

Tap Dancing to Heavy Metal

Lusts, musts, and musk

Fulfilling hedonistic needs; sweat beads

Accomplishments forsaken; loyalties?

Mistaken

Identities masked

Emptied flasks

Flesh striped away

Bones revealed; reviled, broken

Vows and tears emptied into kegs

The Diamond of the Beers

Children crying; unattended

Whining and dinning

Shots taken

Mind numbing blows

A crystal mess

Drugs drug out; and about the Money

It is only a tool fool!

Who is now the broken?

Fool?

Is it me or is It you?

Husband or Wife

Life and the Freedom of the Pursuit

H A P P I N E S S

It must be woven

Thank you Skipper, How big is that boat of yours that you will be sailing around the Globe? And are you going to do it all alone one man in one boat on the open sea? Hats off to you my friend And my God go with ya. Donnie/ Sinbad the Sailor Man

I had a toy loom as a child, and really loved it. I never went on to learn on a big one, but it's on my to-do list. I also have back issues from a spinal fusion when I was 6, and another operation at 10. I am not working now, but may have to try again, although I know it will end in disability eventually, maybe this time. I have had a good life so far, and writing is such a great hobby, because of the creative energy, it always makes me feel better! I wish you all the best. Great poem.

Thanks for the read and comment xstatic, All life is a fabric and it is woven by many weavers; which many of are deceivers and others are believers. We all shall be unwound and rewoven one day. Some of us with a gentle tug and others with a near riping pull. Thanks again Donnie/ Sinbad the Sailor Man

What a cool toy that must have been. Many toys back then where still industrial models. So I would imagine the larger scale Loom would be much the same. Patience I have little of so I rough everything I do. Writing poems is now a favorite hobby of mine along with trying to create passive income streams. I feel your concerns with future surgeries we must not dwell upon these or we will alert the powers that be. Who will deliver to us our fears. I read my astrology sign once in awhile for entertainment only. Thanks for the read and comment Donnie/ Sinbad the Sailor Man
