across the ocean

sirenia - Euphoria

I cross the ocean far as I can go.

To new places lost and unknown.

What massive secrets the world seems to keep.

Ones the could bring a pirate to her knees.

I walk the desert for days.

wondering about the lad without a name.

a pirate's true love is always the ocean.

But now its found just across the world.

I shall sail across the sea to find him once again.

to hold him in my arms for eternity.

he shall sail the world with me.

a pirate chained to love.

A love to sail across the sea.

Just not alone

we both shall see

Totally cool if I may say! Shiver me timbers! Chained to love, wow, chrissie, you should try your hand at writing music or lyrics. You play any instruments? You'd go far!I love it! "Across the ocean" gets my vote!

It's kind of clear you really love music, Chrissie. You tend to think in that lyrical way, they way musicians and songwriters do. Respect!

Hello Chrissie, Very nice poetry. I too love to write poetry and I do it as an outlet for release of feelings. I voted your hub poem up. Wish you much success in your sojourn of life! Peace to you....
