Summer’s bloom is on our cheek
And hovers like a newborn bee
She dances in the morning light
As if to chase away the night.
Summer is our passion’s embrace
With slow and tender edifice
Warm breezes snuggle around my knees.
Soft leaves touch so tenderly
Petals colored with utmost care
Dance a lively two-step there.
Summer is our love’s escape
To warmer thoughts and escapades.
