   The  most emotionally moving novel I have ever read was without a doubt, 'Clay's Way' by Blair Mastbaum. A truly touching novel about young love, lust, and emotional journeys.

   The most emotionally moving novel I have ever read (so far) has to be Jody Picoult's My Sister's Keeper. Although I had wanted to put the book down more than once, by the end of it, I was bawling my eyes out - in my office over my lunch break!!

   I would have to say Dickens' A Tale of Two Cities. Although slogging through the 18th century prose style is a nightmare, this book was definitely worth the effort.

   The Road by Cormac McCarthy. Absolute love in the face of absolute devistation. Beautiful story and brilliant prose. Books don't ever usually get tears from me, but this one did.

   Thus far it has been A Walk to Remember by Nicolas Sparks. I don't usually go for the romantic novel, but this is an exception. I love the tender love story found in this book, it moved me beyond words.

   Wuthering Heights is very emotional and shocking at the same time. It's hard not to get invested in Heathcliff and Cathy's whirlwind.

   I would have to say Bel Canto - I was on an emotional roller coaster the whole time because you really got attached to all of the characters. Patchett did a great job of blurring the lines between "villain" and "victim" which added to the emotional nature of it.

    'The Time-Traveller's Wife' by Audrey Niffenegger. I bawled like a baby at the end.
    The movie didn't live up to the novel. Then again, movies never do.

    Love Story. I was reading an excerpt in a magazine while waiting in a laundromat  waiting on the washing and drying and my mom was like excuse me can you help? And I'm sobbing uncontrollably. And the movie. OMG.

    this ones a bit old. but Memories of a geisha - by arthur gold, it was one of my favs an i get all torn apart when i read it bc of her struggle. Scarlett letter is also a good one,  also flowers in the attic- v.c andrews

    For me it would be The Pact by Jodie Picoult. Probably the best book I've read in quite a long time simply because it's stuck in my mind long after I read it. Worth a try
