I think the floppies will continue to thrive. People will shell out $3-4 for a comic book, but they won't always have the $15-30 for a graphic novel. Also, many of todays "graphic novels" are just collections of a series. I personally miss the one shot stories. I don't always have the money or time to read 11 issues for one story or to collect a story that crosses 8 different titles. From a marketing standpoint, graphic novels don't make as much steady income as a monthly or weekly title would over the long haul.
