    Why do you write?

Can you mention a person or event that made you embrace and love writing so much?

I love writing articles because I think we can all learn from one another and I'd like people to learn from my knowledge. I find it to be creative and fun. And some of my writing is actually therapeutic, especially journaling.

Writing is difficult for me, and I don't think I've ever experienced the love for writing that you're talking about. Instead, writing seems to be what I'm supposed to do. It's supposed to be a part of my life in some way, and I would do wrong to ignore it.

Oh, man... Writing to me just always came so naturally. I was always a reader from an early age. My mom tells me that I used to wear these fake red glasses when reading. I also felt I had stories to tell. Though I mostly write fiction, I also enjoy journalism, especially entertainment writing because it's my other passion in life. I remember reading EW magazine or film reviews and think to myself, "I could do that." It's also exciting to read other opinions because what you receive from something, someone else could get something else entirely.

To extract money from publishers, 'no man but a fool ever wrote except for money.'

Writing gives me a chance to express myself. I have been writing since I was a child, but never shared my writing because I didn't have the confidence. I feel like I have so much to say, and writing allows me to share my thoughts with others. It also helps me to deal with stress. I love to write.

Because not writing is simply not an option.

To borrow from Hunter S. Thompson: “As things stand now, I am going to be a writer. I'm not sure that I'm going to be a good one or even a self-supporting one, but until the dark thumb of fate presses me to the dust and says 'you are nothing', I will be a writer.”

Writers are in high supply, while readers are in high demand. Thus, I prefer to be a reader who does his part to keep our surplus of writers fed. I write essays for fun; as foolish as that sounds.
