GRAMMAR HELP PLEASE: Is the following sentence correct??? This is a part of my song.. Please Help!
"Every moment I realize, Everything is Beautified"
This is a part of my song, but I am confused about "Everything is beautified"... Here I wanted to express that because of you every time I realize that everything in this world is getting more beautiful. Its fitting with the rhyme. Can I use it? Please help!
In song lyrics, it is permissible to play loose with grammar. I think "beautified" would be fine.
I think as part of a lyric you should have no fear as you say it adds to rythme. I would agree with Chasuk lyrics allow you to play with words grammatically.
It doesn't matter if it is correct, in music and its close cousin poetry, the important thing is that it scans. Anyway, and yes everything can be beautified.
yes, beautified would work...if you look it up on dictionary.com you'll see that it's a real word. It pretty much means "made beautiful" which is exactly what you're trying to say. Go for it and good luck with your song!

Why do some people use a singular noun when they start a phrase with "one of your . . . "?They might continue by saying "[one of your] best/worst/favorite/least-favorite/best-loved/most-hated" or something similar. Do you have a grammar theory?

There is no correct way to write poetry! But one thing to remember is that poetry is like whiskey and prose is like beer.

Yes, I am a new "hubber." I am also a new writer. It has only been a few months since discovering I really enjoy writing on HubPages. My problem is, since I started writing on HubPages I have been a bit, let's just say, OCD when it comes to my spelling and grammar. Before I hit the...
