   Why do you like to write?
   
   We all must like to write or we wouldn't be members of Hub Pages. What is about writing that you like the most?

   I find it easier to convey my thoughts when I write, so that's the main reason. I also feel like a lot of people that I'm around don't really pay much attention to some of the things I say, so I write because I know that there will be people on here who will read what I think.

   I like to write because when I put my thoughts in written form, I get so immersed into the topic I´m writing that I totally lose contact with reality. Most of the topics I have written for hubpages are about science and astronomy. There have been times when I have gone to sleep and have dreamed about the topic I left  unfinished just to wake up and finish it the next day. Writing transports me to the place of the plot and enhances my knowledge about the topic I´m developing. In addition writing about a great variety of topics broadens my own understanding about life.

   I find it relaxing. Writing helps to put things into perspective and I have found that writing online I have helped others. This has been an added bonus I didn't expect when I first started. It's humbling to know that people not only read what I write but actually take something away from it.

   As a person who has a problem making myself understood or listened to when I speak I find people enjoy my written word. It's rewarding to be told how much they like it.  Thoughts are expressed much more freely written down and a twisted tongue won't get in the way of what I'm trying to say.

   Because I can take the chaos inside, or the depression, or excitement and put it on paper.  I can be any person, or any character and try and step in their shoes to see what they feel.
   
   My favorite form of writing is poetry because you can tell an entire story in just a few stanzas.

   I write because I see the world my own way. A way filled with imagination in everything. I want others to see that. Makes me happy knowing I caused a smile or tear from my works.

   It gives me an opportunity to share the wealth of wisdom that's readily available with readers who might not normally access it.  I particularly enjoy sharing experiences that we can all relate to as well as story's and activities that help us rethink our motives and intentions and lead to making more sound and satisfying decisions.
   
   Example: Readers who are planning to wed may want to plan an exciting honeymoon. But how do you keep the embers burning months and years after the honeymoon? Is there a spark that ignites a fire that melts the very heart of your partner so deeply that when cooled there is a bond in the very core of you and your mate that is virtually unbreakable?

    I can express myself clearly without interruption. When people take the time to read what I write, there is a difference in their attitude towards me. There is also a certain respect amongst other writer when they are aware of your work.
