   The best way to maintain yourself motivated to write is to find writing inspiration in every event or situation that you encounter everyday.
   
   In the same way that a talkative person finds pleasure in talking, a writer should find pleasure in communicate what arrives to him or her through the senses.
   
   Another way to keep motivated is to study the writing genres that exist, so as to find what will become your writing niche in the future.

   Basically, You just have to have a passion for writing. Especially here, No one is going to get rich writing, just the love of putting letters on paper.

   I think that having the BELIEF that you have something important to say, that most people want to hear, will increase your motivation to write it and share it. If you BELIEVE that what you have to share has value to others, it will motivate you to research and share that knowledge in the best and most professional way. Your confidence will show in your writing and make you more credible.

   I'm not sure what the best way is, I think it's different for everyone. Personally I draw on my own experiences to motivate me. Things that have happened and how I feel about them. Sometimes I have to dig down deep and it's not pretty, but it makes for excellent writing content. Other times I remember a hilarious moment at a family get together. These are experiences that I feel will either help someone, teach them something, make them laugh or make them see something in a new way.
   I hope you find your motivation.

   Reading inspires me. I can't guess the number of times I have been commenting here at hubpages on a hub and before I finish the comment I think, "Wow, that would make a good hub, story, poem, etc." I sometimes copy and paste my comment to remind me later!

   First I listen to music, I have a friend who says I should go into the humor area of writing, which I am not sure about. I listen to music, do my ordinary homemaking things, I take care of essentials and it seems even when I go for more than a month or two without writing things start to come to me in the most unexpected of ways.I always keep in mind if I think I am not ready or in the mood to remeber that someone whill be touched by the things I write about and they might make a change for the positive in their life...that's what keeps me in this profession...

   What has worked for me is to not get to serious about it. I just let my imagination run around and when it trips over something I write it down. Another way I find is even if you are ready to shoot yourself in the foot so you can get out of it, I force myself to sit down and I tell myself to write three sentences. If I still do not want to write after those three, then I can quit. 90% of the time I can't stop with just three and I end up doing the writing I need to do.
