Does anyone else here write for Yahoo Voices?

Any former Featured Contributors out there?

No, because they hire people without a proper education and if you have more than an Associates degree or are not in a minority group you will not get hired. Sorry to be blunt, but if you read their posts, they are poorly written.

Thanks for your answer. I write for Yahoo and was looking for others who also write there. I'll have my master's degree in May and worked as a journalist for 20+ years after getting my B.A. I'm sorry you had a bad experience there.

I tried to apply but they are pretty jerks. My articles are approved in Hubpages but not approved in Yahoo! voice.

The review process is dominated by small group of people, unlike Hubpages that everyone can review if the articles are good.

Actually I joined when it was still Associated Content.  I have not submitted anything within the last few years but still earn about $15 a month.  I am thinking about going back and doing some home remedy/natural healing articles there, because most of my page views come from there.  I believe YV are a little stingy with upfront payments but never had a problem with them accepting them for publication

I did get some good upfront payments about $200 for 50 articles.  Then they shut down.  Checked out Squidoo and looks very complicated and don't care for Bubblews much.  So going to be posting to HP

Yahoo Voices just announced that they are shutting down. At the end of July 2014, content rights will revert to the writers. Everyone is scrambling to figure out where to move their articles. I'm assuming many will be rewritten for HubPages.

I have to rewrite some of mine because they don't make min 750 words.  Also noticed some of my articles on other sites.  Somebody copy and pasted them to their own blog
