I completely agree! No one is served when people refuse to discuss issues.
Yup, I agree with peeples. In fact, there's a part of me that welcomes anyone who wants to debate or challenge me!
I agree as well! I write about whatever I want to also. I have. I guess my issue is with people that refuse to hear another opinion.

I certainly wouldn't write about something debatable on purpose. I write about what I want to write about and sometimes people disagree and get nasty. But you're right about it being about them.

I hope you come out of your shell lilmiss. I actually enjoy debating with people, it's just the rude ones, like you said, that irritate me. The closed-minded ones who refuse to acknowledge that have a valid point.

I'm certainly not afraid to debate, I'm talking about the people that come and bash your beliefs like you have no right to have the opinion. I run into this alot in the forums especially. But nothing I can't handle.
oh yes, the forums here can be a whole different ball game ;). I resist the forums here as they are often very disrespectful.

I totally agree:)

I totally agree. I have written a couple hubs that have gotten people worked up. I enjoy that as well. It's the rude ones that get to me I guess. The people that could care less about my opinion. In that case I wish they'd leave no comment at all.
Very good attitufe, I love it:)

You say that your opinions rarely change, does that mean that you are not open to learning? As you go through life and mature (your photo shows glowing youth) you learn more and evaluate situations better.
I learn every day and actually get a thrill out of researching. But my opinions are based on my morals, not just education. I always have facts and figures to help keep those in place. Only drastic events change my opinions, so far.

There is a fine line between getting high off a med and being addicted. But, you were wise not to try it again and he was a fool for saying what he did. Sometimes all it takes is an addictive personality to go along with that high and: YOU'RE HOOKED.
