   Hello Sunny River. Sharing is a cousin of my past was blind from diabetes. He asked me a question like this once exploring writing. Orange was the color we discussed. He asked, "Why do they say orange is blazing? It is not hot. It is rough and uneven." He was being  specific with orange sunsets. His  reasoning was the skin of an orange is rough compared to a lemon or lime.
   
   Dr. Seuss with his book "My Many Colored Days" uses one liners for colors and animals. You may like to look into that book. There are readings by teachers on YouTube for it too. Not a long book. It is a code book for some with mood disorders too. Used extensively by Teaching and for therapeutic reasons internationally. It was published posthumously too by his wife.
   
   That was a stall tactic while trying to come up with a solution set for your query. Let me give it a whirl.
   
   I am here when the sun arrives mostly, yet some say the first day of the week is my cause. I do not believe that since I do have wings and from here I may go to there. I have two close friends and together we can be everything or even nothing. A best friends is like the break of dawn on an early spring day. Stretching its arms wide hugs are offered all day. If you do not feel the hug then just breath and you will receive my energy.
   
   The other friend does offer challenges. Seems say a tad embarrassing offers a blush now and then. Sometimes it is a flirt and others like getting caught with the fingers in the cookie jar. I love them both and when the night slides across the horizon I may hide, yet those friends are there each holding a hand.
   
   Sooner or later little girls see me and offer giggles knowing they are part of and not too. Never any embarrassment since I little boys are like me running and playing almost everywhere. When those boys become men, well then sometimes we become an army with some sunshine. When I am with the sunshine and different then really I am very good, it is how others use us that makes the difference.
   
   Too much of one and too little of the other and never any embarrassment. White is not used since it is too close to little girls traditionally, yet today a bit more white. That scares many. Seems not to give cause as all three of us are equals when standing alone - me and my best two friends. When together this way or that way is when it does make a difference.
   
   Remember the clues and surely you will guess me. I am here today, mostly, and never gone, even though at times disguised.

   The way I feel when my wife cries and I can't fix it. The breath you exhale when the news is not as bad as you feared. The sound of the lights going off because you don't have the money to pay the bill. The feeling of the breeze bringing a cooling rain shower on a hot summer day, and the sweat rapidly dries on your overheated brow. It's the color of love that died long ago, and the absence of passion in a lonely man's life.

    A relatively slow wave of light that emotes a calm, depressive, and sometimes trustworthy demeanor. It reflects a large portion of landscapes from the sky to the ocean. The color generally is not in doctor's offices as it can make others feel depressed. Most studies show that it is the most common favorite color. Brides are asked to wear the color. It has less red in it than purple, and is closer to a green that has less yellow. It can indicate the cold, though a fire of this color... is very hot.

    A beautiful cooling.  A nice ocean view.  Being enveloped in the coolness of being.  Being surrounded by the expansive sky.  A sharp,icy cold touch.  A combination of icy sophistication and next door approachability.   
    
    Comfortable and no-nonsense allure.  Nordic/Scandinavian/Germanic coolness.  Non-threatening chic. A nice summer's day.  A cold winter's morning.  Nice cool margarita.  A voluminous surf.  The go to, every color.  Pure Americana on the 4th of July. 
    
    Moody funk.  Feeling and expressing your deepest angst.  Deep but not dark. Morbid but not morose.  A deep longing, longing for what might have been.  Late afternoon, early evening but not yet night.  Venial sin of castigation.  Sadness but not acute depression.  A mental purgatory.
