Do you think  I should write my memoir  about how my life changed in a foreign country?

My memoir is almost ready for publication been working a  while on writing about all my changes in a foreign country.  Or should I write my memoir through all my experiences in a foreign country? The title still puzzles me any ideas?

Can you clarify the question a bit, Devika?

Hi I  have ideas in writing my memoir but was thinking of writing about how my life changed in a foreign country. Would it be a better idea if I wrote my memoir through all experiences in a foreign country. Also on the title idea any suggestions?

Only an opinion Devika : Perhaps a short 'introduction" of your original 'you', after that step by step your acceptance ' new you' (culture,customs,people...) which would bring to the light the changes you  referring to having them written already.

Devika, your question is being already answered elsewhere" You are already writing about the accepted changes making you " new" you.
A title suggestion, something of this nature: 'How I changed in my new home country'; or " Becoming different in my new home country." ( Being in similar situation, when I moved here permanently , my "native" country wasn't my home anymore, neither my adaptive country was a foreign to me anymore. Presently tis is my "home", my new 'home country.
( Above is  a product of my "thinking" about the matter.) Have a good success, I wish you the best.)

I definitely think you should write about your experience in a foreign country. It is a great journal and others can benefit from your experiences. I have lived in several countries and have learned different lessons from each, and have written about them. Go for it!

It would be interesting to see how you had to adjust to the different culture.  Go for it.  I wouldn't call it "memoir" though, it might be confusing.   You could easily turn it into a series of articles over a course of time.

Thank you Fay Favored I will think about not calling it a memoir. So glad you mentioned it.
