hello Teddy. I started my career as an editor first, editing training materials and software for a publishing house. I learned a lot editing the work of writers and I was not kind with my red pen, which made me their favorite editor, so they took me under their wing and helped my transition into writing. If you are interested in becoming a professional writer, don't shy away from accepting any and all editing or writing assignments and tasks, even the unglamorous ones, as each one is an opportunity. p.s. I also went to school and studied Communications. good luck.
