Rudyard Kipling, more specifically his poem "IF"
When I turned 16 my father gave me a poem book with a short note and a request to read "If" first, as his father had given him on his 16th birthday. I was a little offended that I got a book of poetry for my birthday, until I understood exactly what that poem was telling me as a young emerging man. And if you have never read it before and you are a man you need to. And ask yourself if you really are a man. This is litteraly the standards that every man should follow to call them selves a true man.
