   Not my sense of humour, but certainly my sense of anger occasionally may spill out into a hub, especially if I am writing about the actions of the Nazis in World War two.

   Now to me that all depends on what the said person's sense of humor is. People can greatly benifet from a sense of humor if they're naturally funny but humor like most things of entertainment value is an acquired taste just like music, art, anything you can think of. Some people more than likely won't have the same taste in humor as you and you know what? That's okay, that's life, but that's where writing can fall flat to a specific audience.
   Toilet humor for instance will fall flat to the more mature audiences more than often and complex adult comedy can be too mature and complicated for young minds.
   There's nothing worse in writing than a piece of writing intended to draw an emotion in an audience and the audience just doesn't respond to it.
   However, those who know they have a natural good sense of humor will more than often succeed with their comedy.
   
   It's one of those things where it can either hinder or help, it's all based on your execution as a writer and a funny guy. Self discovering what your sense of humor always helps a writer as well as knowing if you have the ability to make people laugh easily or not. Comedy isn't for everyone just like every genre under the sun, but as long as you're confident and self aware of what you're doing, you'll succeed more than likely.

   In my case, absolutely.  Even when I write about a servious topic my strange sense of humor creeps in somehow.  The hubs I enjoy the most are humorous.  I think it's something that just comes out.  If I work at trying to make something funny it usually doesn't work.  I try never to get caught up in what others might consider humorous.  If it comes out funny to me that's enough.  Being a country hick, if I just write the way I talk when I'm at home and with the folks it comes out pretty dang funny anyway.  If you look for it real life is pretty freakin' funny.

   I guess it depends on what I am writing about, I have a fairly dry and sinicle sense of humor so to be honest I find it hard to get the context of my humor correct inorder for it to make sense.
   I figure if I am waxing lyrical I would be more humorous than if i am writing a factual advice article.
   I am still new to this kind of social writing so I will probably get better with time, thats what they say anyway,

   I believe my sense of humor helps my hubs.  It makes for a more personal touch in my hubs and has my writing be more authentic. I want my hubs to be interesting to read and I think some humor helps improve the quality of the hub.

   I love to laugh and I love to make others laugh.  So my writing is almost always to the funny haha side.  I write the way I talk.  But does funny make us money?  I don't believe so.. I think those who write about products are the ones who make money.  I don't think I can selling any products if I am making fun of it.  So in that sense, my sense of humour hinders my writing because I intend to make some money writing.. but so far el zippo! lol

    My sense of humor helps in the sense that I can write humor almost at will when I desire.  At the same time, I write a lot of stuff that has no place for humor and I quickly leave it out so I think my sense of humor in the dividing line in my personality as a writer.  The term, "sense of humor", seems rather innocent but if we have it then we can quickly rely on it to guard us against attempting to make something funny which is not and should not be cast in that light.  A sense of humor tells you when to laugh and when to cry thus it become a highly critical aspect of a writer's personality. WB
