I write four very different blogs, which I would like to promote through one portal. Everyone tells me you can't promote anything beyond a single niche. I don't believe it. Hub Pages and other similar sites certainly attract readers even though they cover a much wider array of subjects than any one Hub Pages writer ever can. Also, I think I have read that it is "outside readers," not Hubbers, that actually make the site its money.
So what is it that attracts readers here? Or more to the point, what is it that attracts *customers* to Hub Pages and similar sites.
To put the question a little differently, if you were marketing a site like Hub Pages, how would you describe its target audience?
