The Dissapearance of Passion

Is it not but the yearning itself
that begs  to own my soul
    Or yet is it  not

If I reach out blindly to grasp one
touch of yours  can you share
    all you've got

No  but by nature I could never ask
    for you to sit here
    by my side

The ignorance of the blinding of
hearts is never a reason to
    lie down and wait

Here  deep  deep in the forest of
    my meager  existance I
    will wait

And know too that when I finally fall
    asleep cold and alone
    I'll know then of fate
