I have an interesting poetry challenge I would like to share with my fellow Hub Page poets. This challenge is part poetry writing and part self discovery. This is how it works. Think of 3 words that best describe your personality then write an acrostic poem using these 3 words which explain how these three aspects of yourself fit together. I will share the links to those people who participate, in my poetry blog called Random Madness Poetry when I officially post the challenge on Monday.
First off you should know I love to laugh.
Under almost every circumstance, this is what I love to do most.
Nothing describes me better than laughter.
Save for faith.
It is God Who means more to me than anyone or anything else.
Nothing above, on or below the Earth could have more importance.
Careful not to give the impression that I am above anyone.
Every day is a day, I pray He makes me who He wants me to be.
Redundant of no one, as He does with each of His creation, He makes me special.
Equal to no one. No better or worse, but loved deeply.
Peace maker. I desire to makes things smooth and comfortable for all.
A pleaser. A weakness I think, but a blessing to those around me.
I have a little issue with desire... it's more under control then it used to be.
Overworked. Could use some help.
Nocturnal. Like to stay up late.
Attitude is positive.
Timely. Don't like to be late.
Eternal... I believe we're all everlasting.
Ok, I don't know if I did that right, but I lost the poetry edge at the end and just wanted to finish it. lol
I wanted it in Hub form so I could link it to my blog, but this is fine. I will still mention it. Acrostics can be challenging and I think you handled really good. Fun, Sincere, and Passionate are great qualities in a person. Thank you for sharing this.
Hi PHILLYDREAMER, I have one coming up soon for you. This one was fun, glad to contribute.
Oh great, now for the rest of the challenge, Im going to be the one who didn't make it a hub. That's what you get for going first. To be fair, I don't think it said that anywhere in the instructions did it? Ive never done a challenge before, maybe that's basic knowledge. <hangs head in shame>
No worries, Beth37. He needs the link so that's why you need to put it in a hub. Go ahead, copy and paste, girl, add a few images and you're done.
I am going to hold out one more day on this challenge, to give some people a chance to participate. I'm still looking for some links to attach to my blog post so please be sure to share your challenge ieces with me.
I have officially started the challenge on my poetry blog "Random Madness Poetry". If you would like to contribute to the challenge, you can send me your links through this forum or visit my blog and message me through G+. Beth I used your contribution as the example in my blog and added the link to your HubPages profile so people can read your work. Thank you for helping out with the challenge.
